I have been going over childhood memories and was wondering if you are the Lela Nargi who lived in Portugal for a short while with your parents when you were a child. I’m on the board of my local Vermont co-op and was forwarded your recent article “Community Food Co-ops Are Thriving During the Pandemic” by a colleague. I found it very informative re how co-ops differ from grocery stores and especially loved the phrase “patchouli scented days” in a section describing the typical history of food co-ops. I would be very interested in sharing this article with my local paper to inform others about the advantages and structure of food co-ops. Please advise how this could be accomplished.
