If you haven’t known me for the better part of 30 years, likely you’re not aware that although I write a lot about food and the environment and science now, I actually got my journalism start in business mags. The first was the (sadly defunct) Regardie’s which skewered Washington insiders back in the ’80s and early ’90s; and the second was Fortune. I started dipping my tow back in when I took a gig at Working Mother a few years ago. And the trend continues, with (improbable as it sounds for a New York native) Gulfshore Business.
