Your Turn

The reading has been slooooow around here for the last couple of weeks. So I’m putting it to you: What books has your middle grade reader been enjoying lately? And/or, what books do you remember consuming with relish when you were a middle grader? Bonus points if your pick was made into a movie worth watching. I’ll start it off: Harriet the Spy by Louise Fitzhugh, made in 1996 into a pretty true (except for the Upper East Side part) and terrific Nickelodeon movie starring Michelle Trachtenberg.
